Good as Gold has been established and flourishing in our sweet little space on Victoria St, Wellington for almost seven years. The original store had its charm with kitschy furniture, beer crates, a couple of bulldogs, succulents and gnomes aplenty but the shelves were bulging and the place was growing so it seemed like the right time to shake shit up a bit more and move. Owner Ruben Bryant designed the new store with his Architect Daddy Ken Bryant and the end result is absolutely teeming with goodness. Inspired by my nostalgic tree fort past (with maybe a hint of Ewok village) the new Good as Gold is ultimately a dream come true; 3 floors of retail all realised by DIY can-do mates, family members and the skilled hands of an independent builder.
Karen Walker Eyewear has always suited our style; when we were in a pokey little mint green hangout and now that we are living in the trees amongst the bearded bears. Karen Walker is a brand that we respect and that we are proud to represent, cheers guys for the support!
