About The Role

We are actively recruiting an experienced and highly skilled Senior Store Manager based out of our boutique in Te Aro, Wellington, to join our growing team at Karen Walker. Managing a tight knit team, you will pioneer the overall performance of the store, including sales, customer service, inventory management, all while leading and motivating a high performing team. You will be the driving force behind the success of the store while actively nurturing your team and community alike. Reporting to the General Manager to support your growth, you will have a demonstrated history in retail management and strive to be a leader in your field while possessing the following qualities: - Passion for the brand as well as wider fashion trends - Drive and self-motivation - Immaculate personal presentation, grooming & hygiene - Ability to deliver a high level of customer service and experience - Professionalism and trustworthy nature - Excellent organizational skills - High literacy and numerical skills - Proficiencies in POS and inventory management software - Ability to multitask in fast paced, large format settings How you will contribute: - Deliver and promote a positive, collaborative, and professional team environment that values trust, integrity, * and incomparable performance standards - Lead the development of your team through regular coaching, developing sustainable action plans to achieve milestones - Develop the engagement of your community building on capture and retention through relevant clienteling tools - Actively collaborate with Head of Retail and other relevant departments to monitor category performance and allocation for optimal impact - Partner with heads of department in providing effective qualitative and quantitative feedback on product, visual merchandise, brand matrix, and sales strategies - Actively analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify possible areas of opportunity - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures - Lead standards through the embodiment of brand ambassadorship on the shop floor

About You

Key Requirements: - Minimum 3 years’ experience as a store manager or similar role. Exposure in a luxury or high-end setting preferred but not essential - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and inspire a team - Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Proficiencies in Microsoft Suite as well as POS and inventory management software - Strong commercial acumen across all aspects of retail management including, without limitation, operations, inventory, and community - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends - Incomparable analytical and problem-solving skills
